II. Approval of Minutes
Minutes of
the 27 February meeting were approved.

Mr. Salm continues to work with DCCC on their classrooms.
VIII. Administrator Comments
Mr. Conner
informed everyone S Central is having some IDL fieldtrips. Information will be
coming via email. Mr. Conner reported on
his meeting with Kinsley and Jetmore on Monday.
He hopes they join the Network, but at this time they are noncommittal.
IX. Spanish Teacher Update
Ms. Bastidas is returning to
X. 08-09 Schedule Development
Applied Math
may be listed under different names, i.e, AYP Math,
Applied Geometry, Practical Math. These math classes are designed for students
needing reinforcement in math skills and will also meet the third math
requirement for HS graduation. College
bound students will still need to take a higher level math class above
Geometry. Principal’s indicated other
schedule needs. Schedule updated to
reflect changes.
XI.
College Class/HS Class Expectations
Mr. Kohlman stated most
schools have duel credit for HS/Clg classes. Mr. Corby stated they do not at Haviland.
XII. Student responsibilities/absences
Administrators are encouraging students to attend
class as much as they can. Class absences
have an adverse effect on student performance.

The calendar the A+ Office compiles is helpful. Mr. Conner reminded everyone to turn their
school calendar in to the A+ Office by Thurs of the previous week.
XIV. Other
Teacher in-service will be held August 5 this year at Mullinville.
