A+ Network Objectives
Ten schools in SW Kansas formed a consortium in 1989 to share classes over an Interactive Distance Learning network. Currently, there are 16 IDL classrooms in ten Unified School Districts. For the 06-07 school year the A+ Network is sharing classes with four other IDL networks across the state of Kansas.
The network Policies are found here. An Equipment Handbook was developed for reference by network users. A Course Schedule for 07-08 is finished. (refer to A+ Schedule here ). This site to share information, provide an area for discussions, and gather feedback.
Our member school district, USD 422 Greensburg, has sustained a horrible disaster from a tornado that wiped out their community on 4 May 2007. Plans to rebuild the community are underway for temporary schools to be operating in the fall. The A+ Network is working to have the IDL classrooms in operation for them at that time. Contact information as well as a link to the school website are found in the next section on this page under Current Projects. |
